NGO Day
From 23–25 June 2025, the International Conference of Information Commissioners (ICIC) will take place. Following the Open Session of the Conference, a special NGO Day will be held on 25 June 2025 – an event for civil society organisations, activists and interested individuals. This event will take place in parallel with the Closed Session of the Information Commissioners.
Organised by NGOs for NGOs, this separate event offers a unique platform for non-governmental organisations to exchange ideas, share experiences, and discuss pressing issues relating to access to information, with a particular focus on environmental information.
While the NGO Day is linked to the ICIC, it is organised independently and requires separate registration. Participation is free of charge, but places are limited, so early registration is strongly recommended. It will take place at the Berlin Office of the Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Spittelmarkt 11, 10117 Berlin. The detailed programme will be shared shortly.
