Natalia Carfi

Natalia has been the Executive Director of the Open Data Charter since 2021, after first working as our Deputy Director since 2018.

Natalia is the former Open Government Director for the Undersecretary of Public Innovation and Open Government of Argentina where she led the work with the Open Government Partnership and the Argentinian provinces.

She was the Open Government coordinator for the Digital Division of the Government of Chile (2014-2015) and for the City of Buenos Aires (2015).

Sven Biermann, Executive Director of the Fisheries Transparency Initiative

Sven Biermann

Sven Biermann is the Executive Director of the Fisheries Transparency Initiative (FiTI). The FiTI is a global multi-stakeholder partnership, which strengthens transparency and collective action for a more sustainable management of marine fisheries.

Sven has previously worked for the global consulting company Accenture, as Director of Anti-Corruption projects at the HUMBOLDT-VIADRINA School of Governance and was also the co-founder of the non-profit Berlin Governance Platform gGmbH.

In 2012/13, Sven served as the Senior Advisor to the United Nations Global Compact 10th principle (anti-corruption).

Sven holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a Major in Information Management from the University of St. Thomas, Minnesota/USA.

Sarah Kennedy, Junior Program Officer, Policy & Partnerships, Open Government Partnership (OGP)

Sarah Kennedy

Sarah Kennedy is a junior program officer on the policy and partnerships team at the OGP support unit, developing and delivering thematic policy strategy and activities, particularly in the area of digital governance. She holds a master of public policy degree from the Hertie School in Berlin.
