G7-Roundtable

The G7-Roundtable of the data protection and privacy authorities was launched in 2021 as part of the Data Free Flow with Trust (DFFT) roadmap. The DFFT initiative stems from a speech by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in 2019, which encouraged a discussion on the trustful exchange of data. In May 2022, the initiative was supported by an action plan by the G7 Digital Ministers.

The following institutions participate in the G7-Rountable:

  • Office of the Privacy Commissioner (Canada)
  • Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (France)
