Privacy Declaration
Every time a user accesses a page offered by the Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information and every time he recalls a data file, data concerning this procedure are temporarily stored and processed in a log file.
Before any storage every data set is anonymised by modifying the IP-address.
In detail, the following data set is stored about every access/recall:
* anonymised IP-address,
* date and time of recall,
* recalled page/name of the recalled data file,
* amount of data transferred,
* notice if the access/recall was successful.
These data are only evaluated for statistical purposes and for improving the offer. Afterwards they are erased. They will neither be used otherwise, nor made available to third parties.
When recalling individual pages, so-called temporary cookies are used in order to facilitate navigation. These session cookies do not contain any personal data, and after the session, they expire. Technologies, such as for example Java-Applets or Active-X-Controls, which allow to track users’ access behaviour, are not used.
Postal addresses and e-mail addresses which are indicated in connection with requests or orders of information material are only used for purposes related to correspondence or shipping.
