Central Aliens Register
In addition to the files kept by the local foreigners authorities, the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) maintains the Central Aliens Register. The legal basis is the Act on the Central Aliens Register. The data are processed and used by the Federal Office of Administration on the order and instructions of the BAMF.
