Public relations activities aim at rendering pertinent data protection law transparent, informing citizens about their rights and helping them to become engaged in protecting their own data, to enable them to exercise their right of informational self-determination.
For this purpose, you will find here the current press releases of the Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (BFDI) as well as speeches and interviews. For each category you can also search in a comprehensive archive. Furthermore, you will find information on important events and commitments.
Among the informative material have been compiled resolutions of international committees. In addition, you will find brochures, flyers and aids for work issued by the BFDI.
